ABOUT ME.

Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, I spent most of my childhood inside a dance studio. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue the arts and a number of years touring internationally as a dancer, I found myself struggling to identify why I still felt a lack of confidence and connection to myself. I spent years struggling with shame and criticism about my body. Fitness taught me to harness my inner strength, find healing in bold movement, and to honor my wellness needs. It is through this work that I fell in love with fitness. I realized how powerful movement can be when it is shared in an open, safe and welcoming container.

In my years working as both a group and 1x1 trainer, I’ve come to find that all too often the emphasis of the health and fitness industry is focused on ‘changing’ you, ‘fixing problems’, and ‘breaking’ bad habits, instead of uncovering what lies beneath these struggles. I am a strong believer that you already have everything you require to become your strongest and most abundant self, it is a process uncovering and releasing old ideas and experiences that will lead to you to this success and happiness. That is the foundation of the work and the rest is built around YOU.

Sessions combine a mix of weight training, HIIT, and mobility/corrective exercises to create a balanced program. In addition to being a NASM CPT, I have an extensive background in strength training, HIIT and endurance coaching, pilates and nutritional support.   

I love to laugh, to have philosophical chats and even more serious discussions of pets, kids, British baking shows, and bad puns.  We will  simultaneously train in pursuit of fun and challenge!
